Homemade Granola

Prep time: 5 min | Cook time: 15 min

Ingredients:

  • 100 g porridge oats (1 cup)

  • 100 g jumbo oats (1 cup)

  • 120 g chopped mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc.)

  • 60 g mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, etc.)

  • 50 g desiccated coconut

  • 45 g maple syrup (about 3 tbsp)

These are just a guide—you can mix and match whatever you have in your cupboard!

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Place all dry ingredients on a baking tray.

  3. Pour over the maple syrup.

  4. Mix everything together until evenly coated.

  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through for even toasting.

  6. Let it cool completely—granola will crisp up as it cools.

Serving Suggestion:
Top with yoghurt, milk, or smoothie bowls. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
